Here reside some of the oldest Catholic communities in the world struggling to stay in their homeland and rebuild after entire towns were destroyed by ISIS. Peer into the Shrine of the prophet Nahum, built in the 12th century, and revered by Christians, Muslims and Jews. Its restoration gives hope that Jewish pilgrims will return to an area some of them once called home.
Learn about this ancient land and its people and hear their stories.
