Join us at Fivesparks to hear author Tina Cassidy discuss her new book, “Mr. President, How Long Must We Wait? Alice Paul, Woodrow Wilson, and the Fight for the Right to Vote”, an eye-opening, inspiring, and timely account of the complex relationship between notable suffragist Alice Paul and President Woodrow Wilson in her fight for women’s equality. Moderated by Harvard’s own Charlie Sennott, veteran journalist and foreign correspondent, this event will be a rousing, relevant, and candid exploration of a crucial moment in American history, spearheading the pursuit of equality and social justice one century ago, in the context of the quest that continues today.
