Join us for a living history program. Trumbull Bull, with help from some fellow Harvard townspeople, gives us a first person perspective on a time of great social change. If you have ever wondered where Harvard’s unique personality originated, Trumbull Bull may be one of the men responsible. He was one of the owners of the General Store long before the current building was constructed. He also ran a store out of the Harvard Inn building He was one of the founders of the Harvard Oddfellows and seemingly thrived in Harvard’s social scene (Yes, there was a social scene!) He was also an ardent apple enthusiast, experimenting with grafting techniques and seed cultivation in an attempt to create a better apple. (The Macintosh had not become popular yet.) Come learn more about this remarkable man at HHS, 215 Still River Rd, Thursday, Oct. 19, at 7PM.
