Liz describes herself as a storyteller and her work as a visual narrative of her surroundings and past.
Using clay, she attempts to create the experience of shared stories, magic and nature. Her work manifests ephemeral feelings and nostalgia. The fleeting joy of colors that come with short seasons and the yearning we feel for that color once winter has arrived. She is inspired by what she sees and tries to capture that.
Liz will be presenting her creative philosophies at an ‘Artist Talk’ Manifesting Storytelling in Sculptural Vessels on Saturday, February 15, 2025, 2:00pm.
