Learn the Japanese Art of Shodō Calligraphy

Arm in Arm, in collaboration with Fivesparks, offers this class as part of its “World Cultures Month: Japan” programming for the month of April 2022. 

In this one hour class, learn the Japanese art of Shodō calligraphy with Keiko Dion.  You will find out why beautiful writing represents inner beauty and will find your inner peace by learning to write the symbol for peace.  All supplies needed are included.  Each student will take home a kit consisting of:  a calligraphy brush, a felt sheet (shitaziki), and ink.  All ages welcome 10+.
