Life Weaving Workshop

Weave yarn, fabric, found objects, and mementos to create a symbolic image of your life or a loved one’s. This art form is more about the process than the outcome. Self-reflect, go through items that have stuck with you over the years and represent periods of your or your loved one’s life. You will learn an abstract form of weaving, needle felting, and how to bring a variety of media together to create an abstract image that represents you and your journey. This project can take time and may not be completed in 5 classes, depending on the individual.

Tuesdays: 6:15 – 7:45pm

• January 15 & 22 classes will focus on the weaving technique
• January 29 & February 5 we will incorporate needle felting
• February 12 class will be focused on adding found objects/momentos and pulling the piece together

Age:  Adults

Cost:

• $10 materials fee
• $66 for 3 @$22 a class
• $80 for 4 @$20 a class
• $90 for all 5
