From June 17 – 24, classical chamber music players – from young professionals to seasoned amateurs – will be coming to our community for a Chamber Music Workshop that we are subtitling “Loving the Process.” Harvard residents, as curious listeners, have an essential role in the experience. Join the fun: whether you like the process or the final result, musical hors d’oeuvres or a full-length string quartet, there is something for everyone!
Our participants will have an open-door policy as they work toward the final concert performance on Saturday, June 23. They will be rehearsing, and participating in coaching sessions lead by Rhonda Rider, Judith Gordon, and Judith Eissenberg, and there will be masterclasses and informal concerts. Eavesdrop on the inner workings of rehearsals, share the players’ growth process by attending open masterclasses, sit in the first run-through of a performance, and come to the final concert, where the rubber meets the road!
