Enjoy the rewarding experience of creating art out-of-doors in Harvard, Massachusetts. The Plein Air workshop breaks down the four walls and takes you to four beautiful sites selected in collaboration with the Harvard Conservation Trust. Be a part of this unique experience capturing nature’s ephemeral light and translating your insights into art. This four-week series will take you to varying locations to ensure that you experience different scenes, light and textures.
All levels of artists are encouraged to participate from beginner to professional. Work in the medium of your choice: sketching, pastel, watercolor, oil, acrylic, or photography. Artists work independently; local resident Gwen Leonard will be an advisor and monitor at all sessions. Limited to 10 participants.
PLEASE NOTE: A recommended equipment list, and medium-specific supplies lists, will be provided upon registration. Sites will be announced prior to each session.
