Performers and audiences alike treasure the sense of community rooted in a shared love of music – both contingents are challenged by the suspending of so much real-time, active, collaborative music-making due to the pandemic. And the collective loss of schedules and structures has left many musicians unmotivated, seeking ways to revitalize their practice this summer.
ROOM 7F is a 24|7 virtual practice space for any participating musicians — and curious community members — to visit! Click on the Zoom link below at any time during the Harvard Music Festival for a glimpse, in Gallery View, of people’s musical work-in-progress and/or to share with others a window (always muted) into your own rehearsal space. We hope that this virtual proximity offers a sense of connectedness and uplift.
