The Nashoba Valley Weavers’ Guild (NVWG) is excited to be the first Exhibit & Sale at the re-opening of Fivesparks in Harvard, MA. We have planned a month of weaving-related activities to celebrate this event.
The Exhibit opens Saturday, Sept 14th, and features a variety of items that have been handwoven by our members, including Harvard residents Dorothy Solbrig, Lynn Ferrillo, Susan Ostberg and Reba Maisel. The Exhibit will remain open for the month of September during regular hours: Tuesday – Saturday, Noon – 6pm.
Join us for a Reception at the Exhibit on Friday, Sept 13th, 7-9pm. You can meet the weavers and enjoy complimentary refreshments.
The Nashoba Valley Weavers’ Guild is a small, friendly group of handweaving enthusiasts local to Middlesex and Worcester Counties. NVWG members demonstrate weaving and other fiber arts at various local events and venues. The Guild sponsors lectures and workshops by experts in the field. Regularly-scheduled Guild meetings are 7:00pm, on the 4th Tuesday of each month, September through June, at The Fiber Loft (9 Mass Ave, Harvard MA). For more information, visit www.nvwg.org
