Join Rachel in 2nd part of this 2-part series. Learn how to turn your felted sheet into a journal cover, create a closure and then embellish it with beads or decorations of your choice (student will need to supply needle and thread and any extra decorative elements).
Rachel is a fiber artist focusing predominately on the subject of nature both in the form of landscapes and abstract designs. She captures the details and textures found in the natural world with a whimsical twist.
She’s been teaching fiber arts locally for several years and now continues with Zoom!
This class is welcome to anyone 16+ yrs old. If anyone is interested in this project, but there is a time conflict, Rachel is happy to record the class.
All supplies for the class will be in a kit available for outdoor pick up in front of Fivesparks on Sunday 10/18. $55 for both classes and supplies ($30 for one class). Extra $5 if you also need felting needles and foam. Drop off delivery to your home or mailing is an option for an additional charge.
This class series is designed in conjunction with Marisa Benson’s (Rachel’s sister) journaling for self-discovery class series. You can choose to take both class series (4 classes) for $85, or just the journal cover series (2 classes) for $55.
