If you bike and are curious about how yoga might be beneficial – and help you ride then this workshop is for you!
Both beginners and those with a regular yoga practice are welcome join us to learn yoga poses that can improve core strength, prevent injuries, aid recovery, improve flexibility, open areas that tend to tighten in cycling and also help your breathing and focus. You’ll leave this workshop with a short routine that you can incorporate in your training along with poses suitable for pre and post ride and help you ride injury free.
The instructor, Krista Schepanovsky, was a triathlete,ultra distance runner and cyclist and kept hearing that she should “do yoga” but had no idea where to even begin. Now she has also been teaching yoga for over 6 years and is eager to share how she has learned how yoga can be beneficial to cyclists. Harvard is a great place to bike – bring your bike and ride before or after class!
